The following accounting services are included in the legal package:

• Dedicated Accountant for Barristers: Each of our monthly accounting packages include a dedicated accountant to ensure that we offer exceptional service to our clients.

• Xero IGNITE for Barristers: Keeping your business records on Xero Ignite, which is Xero's recommended plan for businesses starting out. It covers the essentials, including bank feeds, invoicing (up to 20 invoices and 10 bills), VAT returns, analytics and more.

• Bookkeeping (30 minutes) for Barristers: Managing your bookkeeping tasks, dedicating up to 30 minutes per month to this essential function. Maintaining accurate records enables you to manage your business and provides an audit trail for tax purposes. By law, you are required to keep records of all business income and expenditure for at least 5 years from the 31 January submission deadline of the relevant tax year. 

• VAT returns for Barristers: Preparing and submitting your quarterly VAT returns.

• Annual Accounts for Barristers: Producing your annual accounts (year-end accounts, financial statements), i.e. Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet (if required).

• Self Assessment tax return for Barristers: Preparing and submitting your Self Assessment tax return (online).

• Accountant's reference (1 per year) for Barristers: Providing references and certifications in relation to your mortgage application or verification for renting a new property, etc.
